Pan Asia Gemstones Mining Limited intends to
commence feasibility exploration in Summer, 2008.
The feasibility study will undertake a careful
emerald exploration program to determine the extent of the reserves, in order to
define the location of the best emeralds both on the surface and at depth, by
carefully mapping the geology of the area, the nature of the emerald
mineralization, the orientation and extent of brittle faulting. This will be
followed by a carefully planned drilling program to define the three-dimensional
geometry of the deposit.
Exploration requires the detailed mapping of the
license areas, followed by geological exploration on the concessions. This
exercise, subject to positive results, will guide the design of the bankable
feasibility study.
Funding will also be applied to completing the
laboratory studies already commenced. This work can involve graduate students
from the collaborating institutions.
